During my recent stay at Pension Grilo, I found a nice balance between value and comfort. Located conveniently close to the Camino path, it's easy to reach, which is a definite plus for travelers. The welcoming host set a positive tone right from the start, and their flexibility with luggage drop-offs was a real lifesaver. The room was quite spacious and clean, outfitted with basic amenities, although I did miss having air-conditioning. For €19, I booked a room without an adjoining bathroom, but I discovered that down-the-hall facilities were tidy and well-maintained. Once I learned that other rooms came equipped with their own bathrooms, I felt a tad envious, but for the price, my setup was manageable. Dining options at the in-house restaurant provided a delightful menu del día, making it easy to indulge without breaking the bank. The close proximity of a self-service laundromat with good Wi-Fi was an unexpected perk.
